Parking and Access to Zinal
Reaching Zinal by Car
Several free spectator parking areas are available below Zinal, near Mottec. From these parking areas, the finish zone can easily be reached:
- on foot;
- or via the free Mottec–Zinal shuttle buses, operating continuously from 08:00 to 22:00.
Staff will be present throughout the access roads and parking areas to help manage traffic and direct visitors to the available parking zones. Please follow all signage and instructions from traffic personnel, and avoid stopping unnecessarily to ensure safe and smooth traffic flow for everyone.
Very limited parking is available within the village of Zinal for spectators and accompanying persons.
Once these parking areas are full, access control will be implemented at the entrance to the village. Only authorised users (residents, accredited persons and members of the organisation), public transport services and the Mottec–Zinal shuttle buses will be permitted to enter the centre of Zinal by road.
Recommended Alternative: Grimentz + Cable Car
To avoid traffic congestion and full parking areas in Zinal, visitors are strongly encouraged to park in Grimentz and continue to Zinal by cable car.
