2026 Welcome Zone
A special setup during construction works ahead of the new 2027 start area
Due to ongoing construction works at the current start area (motorway construction) as well as the building of the new Sierre-Zinal 2027 start area, a special organisation is in place for this 2026 edition.
This year, participants will first need to make their way to the welcome zone shown on the map below. From there, a marked path will guide them in waves (details to follow) to the start line, located approximately 600 metres away. The start line will be in the same location as for the previous 52 editions, and the course remains unchanged.
This setup is temporary and applies to the 2026 edition only.
