2026 Welcome Zone
All participants must arrive at the welcome area at least 45 minutes before their start time.
To ensure a smooth and safe welcome, all participants must pass through the new welcome area, located between the TCS roundabout and the A9 roundabout, before proceeding to the start.
Access to the start line will then be organised by starting block, according to a set schedule. Each participant will follow a clearly marked route of approximately 600 metres from the welcome area to the Finges start line, located in the same place as in previous years.
Unlike in previous editions, the cantonal road and the motorway will remain open to traffic. Participants will therefore be able to reach the welcome area by public transport from Sierre or the Val d’Anniviers, or be dropped off by private vehicle.
This exceptional arrangement applies only to the 2026 edition due to the ongoing construction work.
