Access to the Start from the Val d’Anniviers
Special bus services operate from several villages in the Val d’Anniviers, making it easy to reach Sierre on race day.
Fares
- Flat fare: CHF 12.– per person*
- Discounts and travelcards, including the GA Travelcard, Half Fare Travelcard and Junior Card, are not accepted.
Purchasing tickets
- Advance tickets are available on the Anniviers Tourisme website (payment by bank card or TWINT).
To secure your seat, we recommend booking your ticket in advance. - Tickets can also be purchased directly from the driver on board the coach on race day (cash or TWINT only).

Special bus services timetable
Most special bus depart between 03:00 and 04:15 to ensure arrival in Sierre in time for the start of the Tourists category. Participants in starting blocks 4, 5 and 6 should take these times into account when planning their journey.

* The 08:30 special bus is reserved for female participants starting at 10:30 and cannot be booked in advance.
☞ Most bus are assigned to the 03:00 departures.
☞ A more limited number of bus operate the 04:15 departures.
☞ Arrival in Sierre is scheduled approximately one hour after departure from Zinal, Grimentz, Chandolin and Vercorin.
☞ Online advance fares are CHF 12.60 and CHF 6.30, including booking and online payment service fees.
Final stops in Sierre
From Zinal, Grimentz and Chandolin: the bus stop at the start welcome area and at Restaurant Le Bourgeois, where free shuttle buses depart for the welcome area.
From Vercorin: the bus stop at the Sierre/Siders bus station, approximately a four-minute walk from Restaurant Le Bourgeois and two minutes from the Town Hall for bib collection.
