Throughout the Course
Several supporter groups help create the unique atmosphere that makes Sierre-Zinal so special. Flags, cheers and enthusiasm accompany the athletes all the way to Zinal.
Below you'll find the main spectator areas open to the public. Several locations will also feature official fan zones and supporter groups, creating an unforgettable atmosphere throughout the race.
Sierre Start Area
The first bend of the Anniviers cantonal road overlooks the start area, offering an excellent viewpoint to watch the race begin.
Niouc
Mandatory passage for the Runner category and optional for the Tourist category.
Chandolin
- From 6:25 am: First Tourist participants pass through
- From 9:30 am: Juniors gather for the 10:15 am start
- From 12:10 pm: First Runner participants pass through
Le secteur de nos amis belges
Official Fan Zone
This year, Les 4 Cimes du Pays de Herve will bring the atmosphere to our Belgian Friends' Sector.
Families, friends and supporters will gather to cheer on the participants in a warm, festive and unmistakably Belgian atmosphere. A celebration of sport, passion and togetherness at the heart of the Sierre-Zinal course.
Tignousa
The Saint-Luc funicular takes you directly to the Tignousa refreshment station, making this section of the course easily accessible.
On race day, it operates from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm, with one departure every 30 minutes.
After 16 kilometres of racing, participants take on the Sprint de Tignousa, a timed 100-metre segment that tests their explosiveness.
Find a spot along the course to cheer them on, give them an extra boost of energy and witness one of the most exciting moments of their race.
Le virage des Gruyériens
Official Fan Zone
Located on the climb towards the Hôtel Weisshorn, just beyond Tignousa, the Gruyère Bend is one of the iconic spectator spots of Sierre-Zinal.
With their red flags, enthusiasm and unwavering support, fans from the Gruyère region create an incredible atmosphere every year, helping athletes push through one of the toughest sections of the course.
Le Tunnel
Official Fan Zone
As the runners approach Zinal, The Tunnel will host an official fan zone organised by the Proto Running Club in collaboration with Salomon.
Supporters will create an electric atmosphere during the final kilometres of the race, giving participants one last boost of energy before they reach the finish line in Zinal.
Zinal
From the dike, along the final 700 metres, to the finish line, come and cheer, applaud and support the participants during their final effort.
Air Safety
Drones Prohibited on the Event Site
For safety reasons, personal drones are strictly prohibited throughout the course and around the event.
Only drones officially authorised by the organisation are permitted.
