Are there shuttle buses from Sierre to the race start?
Yes. Free shuttle buses run between Restaurant Le Bourgeois and the welcome area providing access to the start. They then return to Restaurant Le Bourgeois.
Please remember to collect your race bib beforehand from Sierre Town Hall.

Every 10 minutes from 03:30 to 05:45.
“Coureurs” category:
Every 10 minutes from 09:30 to 10:45.

Are there shuttle buses from the Val d’Anniviers to the race start?
Yes. On the morning of the race, Sierre-Zinal operates special paid bus services from several villages in the Val d’Anniviers.

Are buses available from Zinal after the race?
Yes. Special buses depart from the Zinal cable car station between 12:00 and 19:45, approximately every 10 minutes, depending on demand and traffic conditions.
Fares:
- Free for participants upon presentation of their race bib or medal
- CHF 6.– to Vissoie
- CHF 12.– to Sierre
- Free for children under 6
- Return journey included with a supporters’ bus ticket

Will the Val d’Anniviers road be closed to traffic on race day?
Yes. The road will be temporarily closed.
Closure of the Anniviers road from Sierre in both directions
Traffic will be interrupted on four occasions:
- From 04:40 to 05:25 for the “Touristes”
- From 05:40 to 06:25 for the “Touristes”
- From 10:25 to 10:35 and from 10:55 to 11:30 for the “Coureurs”
Partial closures for traffic travelling down from Zinal towards Sierre
To make it easier for accompanying persons and spectators to reach Zinal, traffic travelling down towards the valley will be temporarily diverted:
Vissoie towards Sierre:
Closed to downhill traffic from 10:25 to 12:30
Diversion via Vercorin
Zinal towards Vissoie:
Closed to downhill traffic from 11:45 to 13:30
Diversion via Grimentz
Ayer towards Chandolin:
Road closed from 06:00 to 14:00
Please reach Chandolin via Vissoie.
Using the Ayer–St-Luc road is strongly discouraged, as it will be very busy with vehicles travelling from Chandolin to Zinal.
